Alright, my culinary comrades. I have something to share with you today.
On May 19, 2026, Rich Chef Poor Chef® was named the Best Business Book of Hospitality and Career Category in the United States of 2026 by Best of Best Review.

I started working in a small pastry shop in Istanbul at 13 years old. Sweeping flour off the floor. Helping the family. Not because I had a plan. Because I had to. That's where this all began.
Decades later, after competing at the World Culinary Olympics as part of the Turkish National Culinary Team, earning a Guinness World Record, gold medals, a Cornell education, and years working in luxury hotels across four continents, I sat down and wrote this book.
Not to impress. To answer the question nobody was asking out loud: why do so many brilliant chefs end up broke?
